How to Counter Winter Depression?

Here are some tips to help you be happy and in better shape during the winter:

  • Have access to the best possible light: open the blinds, open the lights, clear windows and go outside in the daylight
  • Move: exercise, take long walks outside and go to the gym
  • Make sure you have an optimal sleep
  • Eat a balanced diet: Be sure to consume adequate amounts of proteins, good fats and eliminate sugars and low quality carbohydrates (processed)
  • Take omega-3: consume omega-3 daily
  • Take vitamin D: consume vitamin D daily
  • Take probiotics: consume probiotcis daily.
