How to Counter Winter Depression?
Here are some tips to help you be happy and in better shape during the winter:
- Have access to the best possible light: open the blinds, open the lights, clear windows and go outside in the daylight
- Move: exercise, take long walks outside and go to the gym
- Make sure you have an optimal sleep
- Eat a balanced diet: Be sure to consume adequate amounts of proteins, good fats and eliminate sugars and low quality carbohydrates (processed)
- Take omega-3: consume omega-3 daily
- Take vitamin D: consume vitamin D daily
- Take probiotics: consume probiotcis daily.
